2. What should I install before using NETVIGATOR SHiELD?
No installation by customers is needed. The protection will be enabled automatically via your NETVIGATOR broadband line/ NETVIGATOR x csl 4G Home Internet Router/ NETVIGATOR x csl 5G Home Internet Router at your service installation address after subscription to the service. All you need to do is connect your devices to our NETVIGATOR broadband network at your service installation address.

1. What kind of devices is protected by NETVIGATOR SHiELD?
All devices that could be connected to the Internet onto our NETVIGATOR broadband network at your service installation address, such as computers, smartphones, smart TVs and smart fridges.

2. Do I need a NETVIGATOR SHiELD subscription for each of my devices?
No. Subscription is based on your NETVIGATOR broadband line/ NETVIGATOR x csl 4G Home Internet Router/ NETVIGATOR x csl 5G Home Internet Router and not specific devices. Therefore, one subscription to NETVIGATOR SHiELD will enable protection to your NETVIGATOR broadband network at your service installation address and all the devices connected to that network.

3. Will NETVIGATOR SHiELD protect my device if it is connected via public Wi-Fi or a mobile network?
No, NETVIGATOR SHiELD’s protection is based on your NETVIGATOR broadband line/ NETVIGATOR x csl 4G Home Internet Router/ NETVIGATOR x csl 5G Home Internet Router at your service installation address. Therefore, the protection is valid only when your device is connected to your NETVIGATOR broadband network at your service installation address.

4. Will I be protected by NETVIGATOR SHiELD if my device is connected to my broadband network via a router?
Yes, if your router is connected to your NETVIGATOR broadband network at your service installation address.

5. Will I be protected if I am using a High Speed Wireless Broadband Router?
Yes, if you are using NETVIGATOR x csl 4G Home Internet Router/ NETVIGATOR x csl 5G Home Internet Router.

1. If NETVIGATOR SHiELD blocks a site I think is safe, can I still access the site?
Yes, you can still access the site by clicking the "CONTINUE" button, but you are doing so at your own risks and would have to bear the possible consequences.

2. Under what situations will I see block pages?
Block pages will be shown when you attempt to access harmful sites so deterred by NETVIGATOR SHiELD using the browsers in your device. If you are using apps, your next action will be stopped directly without showing block pages.

3. Can I disable the protection if I find the blocking annoying?
No, not unless you terminate your NETVIGATOR SHiELD service.

4. How do I retrieve monthly reports?
You can set-up to receive a monthly email to notify you that a new monthly report is ready. You can download up to six past reports from NETVIGATOR SHiELD portal. (Not applicable to NETVIGATOR x csl 4G Home Internet Service and NETVIGATOR x csl 5G Home Internet Service)

1. Can I change the DNS server address setting of my devices after subscribing to NETVIGATOR SHiELD?
No. A DNS server address will be auto-assigned to devices connected to your NETVIGATOR broadband network at your service installation address with subscription to NETVIGATOR SHiELD. The protection will no longer be valid once the auto-assigned DNS server address is changed.

2. Will my IP camera connected to the network with NETVIGATOR SHiELD be affected?
No. Only the DNS server address will be changed after subscribing to NETVIGATOR SHiELD. Your IP camera will continue to function properly since the IP address will not be affected.
