Super Broadband refers to the NETVIGATOR fibre broadband service plan that meets the ETSI F5G-A standard.According to the public market information of major telecommunications service providers in Hong Kong as of 2 August, 2024, NETVIGATOR is the first network in Hong Kong to meet the F5G-A standard in designated buildings. As of 31 December, 2025, HKT's fixed broadband has met the ETSI F5G-A standard in the fibre networks of 56,000 designated buildings. According to the average results of tests conducted by HKT in the network laboratory in July 2024, using a 50G broadband modem and optical fibre cable connected to computer equipment. The aforementioned latency values only apply to the relevant network servers. In other regions, network latency values may vary depending on the operational load and network traffic of individual network servers. Bandwidth specification refers to the network specifications of the subscribed Services for the broadband line connected from the modem at your premises to the first piece of network equipment or central office of the NETVIGATOR network. 2500M/5000M/10000M Fibre-to-the-Home plans correspond to a maximum upstream and downstream bandwidth of 2500Mbps/5000Mbps/10000Mbps respectively. Actual speed experienced using the Service will be less than the network specifications and may be affected by your device, technology, network and software used, network configuration and coverage, usage levels, international bandwidth and other extraneous factors. 2500M/5000M/10000M Fibre-to-the-Home plans depend on the support of the end device. The NETVIGATOR broadband service is provided by Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) and is only available in designated residential areas, subject to relevant terms and conditions. The comparison is 2.5 times/5 times/10 times the bandwidth speed specifications of the 1000M broadband service plan respectively.
