Worksheets for teaching F.4 Circles |
1st set (by Mr. W.K. Cheng) : It was prepared two years ago. Some of them should be modified according to the abilities of the students and the facilities of the school. |
2nd set (by Dr. Y.L. Leung) : The handout includes a set of worksheets and a list of students' comments on using Cabri Geometry in Mathematics learning. I highly recommend this set of worksheets, prepared by Dr. Allen Y.L. Leung, to all F.4 teachers. |

There are 6 examples showing how Excel could be used for teaching Mathematics. I used these examples for teaching my F.2 high-ability class after the final examination last year, but they could be used for higher forms too. They include maximization and minimization problems, mortgage loan and fixed deposit problems. |

Excel file for teaching F.1 - F.4 Mathematics in zip format |
It is a compressed Excel file, which contains some examples for teaching F.1 - F.4 Mathematics. It was prepared by some teachers in a Mathematics seminar held by PTU and HKASME. The examples are about simultaneous equations, slope of straight lines, linear and quadratic functions and etc. They demonstrate some basic and useful uses of Excel, including plotting graphs, protection of worksheets, and etc. |
(4) Graphmatica
1. |
There are some step-by-step procedures introducing the basic commands in Graphmatica. |
2. |
With the help of Graphmatica, some interesting functions could be investigated through visualization. Students are expected to draw their conjectures and to explain the properties of these functions. |
