My beliefs about Jesus

Though I believe in the teachings of Jesus, my beliefs about Jesus differ so radically from conventional Christianity to the point of being "heretical". Follow this link for a detailed explanation of my faith about Jesus. (Warning: Contents may be offensive to conventional Christians with closed minds.)

Here's something to think about, for both conventional Christians and otherwise. John 3:16, "For God loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life." This is what is recorded in the Bible. But, what did Jesus really mean? Does what we have to believe make a lot of sense, in line with the image of a God of love, goodness and justice?

Conventional Christians today read this verse literally as A implies C, where A stands for "exercising faith in Jesus" (often interpretated as merely "believing in Him", not to say) and C stands for "having everlasting life". Could Jesus have been thinking about A being (then) a prerequisite of B, which in turn would imply C? That John 3:16 was merely a 'simplier' line for conveying (saying or recording) what Jesus really meant? That for us, contemporary people, it is the B, the missing link, that we should be thinking about and paying attention to, rather than comforting ourselves that we're all done with A?
